Introduction

Please note before completing this application form that:
 
  • You ensure that you have read the course aims and outcomes together with target audience to certify that you are eligible to apply.
     
  • Non-attendance will incur a £50 charge to your establishment unless previously notified.
We will never pass your details to any third parties and will only store and use them for the purposes specified. In terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, you are entitled to know what information Perth & Kinross Council hold about you, on payment of a fee of £10. Applications should be made to the Executive Director, Education & Children's Services, 2 High Street, Perth PH1 5PH.

HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

The information provided by you will be used by Perth and Kinross Council Education and Children’s Services (ECS) on behalf of the Perth and Kinross Child Protection Committee (CPC) to process your application for, and quality assure, our Annual ECS / CPC Inter-Agency GIRFEC / Child Protection Learning and Development Opportunities.

ECS Staff will contact you to let you know if you have been offered a place on your course of choice. You will be emailed all course information and resources.   Should your course of choice be full booked, we will let you know and place your name on a waiting list. We will contact you should a place become available on your course of choice.  We only keep course waiting lists for courses that fall within the current academic year (1 August and 31 July). 

Following the course, we will email your attendance certificate along with any relevant learning material connected to the course. We may also contact you again within 3-6 months, asking you to complete a short workplace evaluation survey.
 
We will ensure that your data is stored securely and is managed in accordance with our data protection policy.  Your personal information will be deleted from our records after we process and evaluate the Perth and Kinross Annual Inter-Agency Child Protection Learning and Development Programme.
Where appropriate, information may be shared with Partner Organisations; Groups; Service Representatives, Internal and / or External Training Facilitators and Line Managers.
The Council may check information provided by you, or information about you provided by a third party, with other information held by us. We may also get information from certain third parties or share your information with them in order to verify its accuracy, prevent or detect crime, protect public funds or where required by law.
